Our parents were part of "The Greatest Generation".  I think most of them believed that the motion picture industry had an obligation to promote and protect American values and morals.  Most of them were born in the 20's. Many of them suffered extreme hardships during the "Dirty 30's" and then were faced with WWII and all the sacrifices they had to make to win that war. Then came the Korean War and many more sacrifices were made. Many made the ultimate sacrifice and died fighting for our liberty. Movies and the entertainment they brought were extremely important for them. They were able to relax and enjoy and forget all the hardships they had endured. Many actors and actresses served during the war and several were well known heroes. Audy Murphy, Audrey Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, Kirk Douglas, Paul Newman, Jason Robards, Mel Brooks and Clark Gable were a few that served. Americans had a lot of respect for them. 

From 1934 to 1968 the Production Code Administration regulated and censored the content of motion pictures and television as a result of priests and politicians. Sex, vice, violence and morality were censored. In the 50's that system began to develop cracks. We grew up during the 50's and radical changes in movies began to take place.  Violence became a predominate theme in many movies. Sex, vice, violence and morality all became fair game for movie themes and box office sales was the most important factor in movie production. Making money was more important than protecting morality and Judeo Christian values. Many of us that are of Judeo Christian faiths would say that the devil took control of much of Hollywood's movie production. Most of the big movie studios in Hollywood today are owned by the Chinese and specifically, the Chinese Communist Party. The scripts are censored by the Chinese before movies can be released. What does that tell you?  Pureflix is one of the few production companies that produce wholesome Christian oriented family movies. I recommend them highly.

Statistics today show that by the time a child reaches the end of elementary school, they have seen approximately 8,000 violent crimes via movies and TV. By the time they have reached the age of 18, they have seen 200,000 violent crimes by the same media. America's population more than doubled between 1920 and 1950. Naturally one would expect crime to increase along with population.  One would not expect public acceptance of violent crime to increase with a population increase unless morality decreased. But I believe that is exactly what happened. With the introduction of electronic video games a arcade video game machines, children began to enjoy killing their opponents. How has this affected our society? America has always led the world in technology. These video games and machines have spread over the entire world.  Do you think that the world is a more violent place because of this? Do a majority of people believe that a human life has any value?  If so, why do we see groups of people rioting and picking on individuals while others stand by and do nothing? Is there any wonder why we have seen the rise of mass murderer and other violent crimes in our society?

We had wonderful family TV shows in the 50's and 60's like Father Knows Best, My Three Sons, The Nelsons, the Andy Griffith Show, Leave It To Beaver, The Bing Crosby Show, The Jack Benny Show, etc. Nothing like those shows exist any more except on Me TV.  We have Hollywood actors now that spew hate, curse our President and actually call for our President's head to be chopped off and his children to be kidnapped. We have movie stars and movie producers that are communists, womanizers, pedofiles and devil worshipers yet millions follow them on their social media pages. The Church of Satan has many followers in Hollywood and around the world.  Many of these people have promoted the destruction of the core of our society. They want to destroy the normal American family consisting of a heterosexual mother, father, and their children.  Radicals mostly in CA want to make it legal for people to have sex with children and animals and marriage with them as well.  Do you want to be shocked out of your mind?  Read The Gay Manifesto.  It was written by radicals with an agenda. They have attracted a lot of support by people unaware of what they stand for. Ignorance is a big problem. 

What have you taught your children and grand children? Whether you believe in God or not, you should have passed on to them respect for human life, many of the Ten Commandments and that you should do unto others what you would want them to do unto you. Paul Harvey was a great American. Many of the recordings of his shows are available on the internet/DVD. They are great to listen to.

Better for you?  I'm not forcing you to read them. You want to control my right to express myself, but you cannot because it is my right.  Are you the Gestapo now?

If the administrators don't want me to post discussions about our country, then I will gladly stop.  But you can't ignore whats going on in our country today.  We need to talk about problems in order to solve them. Ignoring them will not make them go away.
