Joey recently drove down to FL from Wilmington to work on his property.  Joey and I both love boats and the ocean so we had a good visit to the marinas in Matlacha and Cape Coral on Thursday.  We drank some cold beer and talked about Raleigh, Broughton, the Navy, and Mitchell, South Dakota of all places.  I was born there and moved to Raleigh when I was 8.  Joey's dad lived there while he was a Navy recruiter....such a small world.  My wife and I are leaving SW Florida.  We sold our home here in Cape Coral and will be living in a new home in the mountains of Colombia (Rio Negro) and building a log home in Pagosa Springs, CO in the near future.
