Steve Stevens was a terrific guy. Many of you may not have known him, but I grew up going to church and youth group with him and knew his giving, optimistic, and helpful nature. Sadly, he was teased often. He held his head up and never held bitterness about it. He died in an automobile accident. I still miss him terribly.
I also remember Steve as a sweet guy who was a late bloomer. I have good memories of him teasing me while we were at State. I can still see the twinkle in his eye when he really caught we off guard one day in class.
So sorry that he is not able to enjoy some more laughs with us!
I knew Steve as a friend but didn't realize that others liked to tease him. He just seemed like a good old guy and got along with anyone. May he rest in peace.
